In the past 31 years, there has been a lot of ink - actual and virtual - spilled on thesubject of the Necronomicon. Some have derided it as a clumsyhoax; others have praised it as a powerful grimoire. As thedecades have passed, more information has come to light both onthe book's origins and discovery, and on the information containedwithin its pages. The Necronomicon has been found to containformula for spiritual trans-formation, consistent with some of themost ancient mystical processes in the world, processes that werenot public knowledge when the book was first published, processesthat involve communion with the stars.

The second of two contributions to the Necronomicon Mythos - a very short book consisting only of various seals and sigils to be used with the incantations found in the Simon Necronomicon. While those who study the Necronomicon mythos will undoubtedly find this valuable, for its rarity alone if nothing else, I personally deem it one of many such titles put together in an hour or less and threw in their catalog to make a few extra bucks when times were tough. Nevertheless, it is what it is and I'm sure some will find it useful.

  • "Simon" - The Necronomicon (Avon Books Edition)

Downloaded: 1 times | Size: 261 pages | Add to wishlist | Download for @100 credits

"This is the testimony of all that I have seen, and all that I have learned... For this is the Book of the Dead, the Book of the Black Earth, that I have writ down at the peril of my life."

H.P. Lovecraft himself denied the Book's existence, but the dreaded NECRONOMICON has finally surfaced. Written in Damascus in the Eighth Century A.D. by the "Mad Arab"Abdul Alhazred, the accursed volume is filled with myths and rituals that have survived the darkest days of magic and occultism - long-forgotten formulae for evoking incredible things, beings, and monsters into physical appearance. Editor Simon overcame huge obstacles during his daring efforts to bring to light this, the most famous, the most potent, and potentially, the most dangerous Black Book known to the Western World...

Simon is a student of magic, occultism, and religion since the mid-1960s and the editor of the Necronomicon. Speaking on topics as diverse as religion and politics, occultism and fascism, ceremonial magic, demonolatry, the Tarot, the Qabala, and Asian occult systems, Simon was a frequent lecturer for the famed Warlock Shop in Brooklyn and the Magickal Childe Bookstore in Manhattan. The media events he organized in the 1970s and 1980s - with rock bands, ritual performances, and celebrity appearances - helped to promote the occult renaissance in New York City. For undisclosed reasons his whereabouts have been unknown since 1984.

First published in 1896, King presents the cuneiform text of a group of 60 clay tablets inscribed with prayers and religious compositions of a devotional and magical character. These tablets were created by the scribes of Ashurbanipal, King of Assyria, between 669-625 b.c., and are currently part of the Kuyunjik collection in the British Museum. King's illustrations feature a transliteration of each tablet with an English translation of well-preserved passages.

King includes a Babylonian-English glossary, a list of proper names and numerals with their corresponding cuneiform inscriptions, and a list of words and word portions of uncertain translation.

  • [ recommended ] Prometheus Rising by R.A Wilson

Downloaded: 1 times | Size: 284 pages | Add to wishlist | Download for @100 credits

This book explains human experience in terms of biological circuits and imprints. It tells you how to alter your brain in a positive fashion. He teaches you to see the world differently, though not necessarily his way. The author demonstrates how the human mind can be either used for freedom or slavery in this book. The choice is up to us. Using Leary's model of the Eight Circuit nervous system Wilson explain such things as patriotism, brainwashing, and morality. He then systematically shows you how to brainwash yourself for fun and profit. The exercises are the main benefit of the book. This is taking into account all the useful information he provides on each circuit, along with correspondences to the Tarot and James Joyce.

    Downloaded: 1 times | Size: 38.6MB zipped MP3s | Add to wishlist | Download for @50 credits

Mantraenthusiasts will recognize many of the songs, but they are newlyinterpreted here. The style is almost completely traditional, butthere is a very subtle & agreeable "wall of sound" in thebackground of many chants. This is particularly effective with theOMmmmmmm... There is a beautiful interplay bewteen the male &female lead vocalists, conveying a lovely sense of Shiva & Shakti. In fact the vocals are outstanding in both performance &composition. The arrangements/production values are excellentA+++. There are 51--yes, 51! mantras & each one is perfection. This is more a meditational collection than rock out, fusionmantra--but many of the chants really work on physical energy too.

  • The Ayurveda Encyclopedia: Natural Secrets to Healing, Prevention & Longevity

Downloaded: 1 times | Size: 688 pages | Add to wishlist | Download for @5 credits

Although there is no shortage of books that attempt to explain Ayurveda medicine (a system that originated in India about 5000 years ago) to a popular audience, the author, instructor at the Ayurveda Holistic Health Center in Bayville, NY, claims that this is the first English-language textbook on the subject. However, he does little to simplify this complicated system and goes into too much detail not only for average readers but for health practitioners who want to learn more about this form of treatment. Many of his statements seem far-fetched (e.g., can the color orange really help with menstrual cramps?). Organization is poor; for instance, information on therapies for diabetes is spread throughout the book rather than being concentrated in the section on diseases. Perhaps the most useful information here is the list of Ayurvedic resources and the glossary containing clear definitions of many of the terms used.

  • A Book of Satyrs

Downloaded: 1 times | Size: 30 pages | Add to wishlist | Download for @50 credits

A richly illustrated book of images. Some of Spare's techniques, particularly the use of sigils and the creation of an "alphabet of desire" were adopted, adapted and popularized by Peter J. Carroll in the work Liber Null & Psychonaut. Carroll and other writers such as Ray Sherwin are seen as key figures in the emergence of some of Spare's ideas and techniques as a part of a magical movement loosely referred to as chaos magic. Zos Kia Cultus is a term coined by Kenneth Grant, with different meanings for different people. One interpretation is that it is a form, style, or school of magic inspired by Spare. It focuses on one's individual universe and the influence of the magician's will on it. While the Zos Kia Cultus has very few adherents today, it is widely considered an important influence on the rise of chaos magic.
