Downloaded: 1 times | Size: 296 pages | Add to wishlist | Download for @500 credits

Hailed by reviewers as "amasterpiece," and as "the single most profound reference of itskind," The Qabalistic Tarot has become the standard in its field,a book essential to all students of Tarot symbolism. It is both atextbook and a sourcebook for the symbols of the Western HermeticQabalah, a corpus of mystical ideas which have, for centuries, exerted a powerful influence on the development of Westernthought. Dr. Wang explains the Tarot as an externalization of amystical system which has evolved from approximately the thirdcentury C.E. to our own time. He traces the development ofQabalistic ideas from the Neoplatonic through the Medieval,Renaissance, and Modern periods, systematically discussing eachSephira and Path on the Tree of Life. He uses the Tarot images asa point of visual reference, and provides a thorough explanationof the symbolic intricacies of the Paths. The Qabalistic Tarot isrecommended as a comprehensive textbook for individual study orfor the classroom. The first and only work based on the four majordecks in use today, it is the ideal companion book for the GoldenDawn Tarot, the Thoth Tarot, the Rider-Waite Tarot, or thetraditional Marseilles deck.

For the newcomer to Kundalini and the chakras, this book is a blessing. It provides detailed instructions for initiating preliminary system-cleansing in preparation for release. Because Kundalini energy is sometimes so potent that its "human module" finds it difficult to function in daily routine and commitments, the author provides methods for moderating or holding its release in check. With personal-scale evolution suddenly on a strident quanturn-track, there is a great need for guidance to soften transitions between our various states of being in our process of evolution. Knowing and understanding Kundalini does make the process much easier on body, mind, and spirit

  • Langue H?bra?que R?stitu? - la Grammaire

Downloaded: 1 times | Add to wishlist | Download for @5 credits

by Fabre d'Olivet. (French) - (The Hebrew language reconstituted) - Fabre d'Olivet was a very unusual man; for a reason unknown to history, he was persecuted by Napoleon. He spoke more than sixty languages, most of them dead. So that, he tells in the preface, so found out that there were three main languages which gave birth to all western languages: Sanskrit, Chinese and Hebrew. He chose to master Hebrew -- he does not explain it explicitly, but it is easy to see this preference because Hebrew is the language which conveyed all the Mysteries of the White Race. By comparing Arabian, Chaldaic, Aramaic and other languages, he could reconstitute the meaning of the original Hebrew from the esoteric point of view. The hebrew letters as we know them at present was created by Esdras (in the Bibles there is a book of his), who was a high priest and seeing that the Pentateuch written by Moses was no longer understood, reformed that language. Fabre d'Olivet claims to have restored this treasure. This books describes the grammar of the original Hebrew according to initiatic standpoint

  • John Michael Greer - Druid Magic Handbook

Downloaded: 1 times | Size: 274 pages | Add to wishlist | Download for @100 credits

The first and only Druidic book of spells, rituals, and practice. The Druid Magic Handbook is the first manual of magical practice in Druidry, one of the fastest growing branches of the Pagan movement.

The book breaks new ground, teaching Druids how to practice ritual magic for practical and spiritual goals within their own tradition. What sets The Druid Magic Handbook apart is that it does not require the reader to use a particular pantheon or set of symbols. Although it presents one drawn from Welsh Druid tradition, it also shows the reader how to adapt rites and other practices to fit the deities and symbols most meaningful to them. This cutting edge system of ritual magic can be used by Druids, Pagans, Christians, and Thelemites alike!

  • Experimentum, Potens Magna in Occult Philosophy (A Great & Powerful Practical Demonstration of Secret Rites) by Frederick Hockley

Downloaded: 1 times | Size: 74 pages | Add to wishlist | Download for @100 credits

This is another stunning effort by the Society Esoteric Endeavour. This superb Grimoire contains various spells, charms & incantations, drawn by Hockley from a variety of sources, and beautifully illustrated with some fantastic plates - making this Grimoire, a true work of art.

In the work Hockley collects a number of rituals, giving some a powerful visual form, akin to a Mandala. In the final ritual, a perilous invocation of Oberion, he records the appearance of the spirit in a grotesque form reminiscent of Edvard Munch’s the Scream. This shows Hockley to be an occult artist of a status hitherto unrealised in publications of his work. One wonders if the references to the ritual use of cannabis and opium in Experimentum signal tools that Hockely used. There are magical procedures for causing the destruction of enemies, routing out thievery, the magical protection of places and buildings, magical fascination, fulfilling sexual desire and a perilous invocation of the spirit Oberion. There is a strong folkish element hand in hand with complex ritual. Hockley gives some spells a striking visual forms, akin to Mandala. These, supplemented by a haunting illustration of a grotesque Oberion - reminiscent of Edvard Munch’s the Scream, establish Hockley as an innovative occult artist in ways unseen in previous publications. Throughout he employs calligraphic hands, rather than his usual handwriting, making this a visually impressive volume.

  • Pearson - Walking the Tides: Seasonal Rhythms and Traditional Lore in Natural Craft

Downloaded: 1 times | Size: 340 pages | Add to wishlist | Download for @50 credits

Evocative of an earlier age when people were more in tune with the natural cycles of the earth, seasons, constellations and the rhythms of nature, this book is a joy. If you dismiss this book as being suitable only for those practicing Pagan craft, then you will be missing out on a delight. Nigel Pearson's book will please anyone interested in nature, wildlife, the countryside, traditional crafts, natural foods, Church traditions, myth, magic, superstitions and more. The author takes the reader on a journey through the seasons of the year, visiting each month along the way. British flora and fauna, both migrant and resident, are described: their habits and haunts, history and mythology and, in some cases, their place on the dinner table throughout the ages. Seasonal reminders are given for planting and harvesting your garden, and for gathering wild fruits, flowers and herbs from the hedgerows and waterways. There are suggestions for using your harvest - herbal remedies for healing, preparations for practices and observances of The Craft, and advice for making traditional foods like preserves, pickles, wines and herbal vinegars. Don't miss Nigel's Suffolk recipe for Simnel Cake and his delicious recipe for traditional Hot X Buns. So much detail and information is contained in this volume that you can come back to it time after time and always discover something new and fascinating

  • The Magus or Celestial Intelligencer Book II

Downloaded: 1 times | Size: 128 pages | Add to wishlist | Download for @50 credits

The Magus has proved to be the most sought after set of bookson magic and alchemy ever published. There is very good reasonfor this. These books are powerful, and were considered sodangerous that for many years, rare copies could only be foundin certain libraries, locked away from the general public andfrom those who would use (or misuse) its power. The originalset of books was first published in 1801 by its author,Francis Barrett, who had an extensive background in themedieval and occult sciences. He spent many years of diligentstudy before releasing them. His premise for the material, that is, before putting anything into these books, Barrettfirst subjected the various theories to certain tests that hadto be "substantiated by nature, truth, and experiment" first. They were written for those seeking the key to thephilosopher's stone and the powers of magic. The illustrationsin this book were taken from ancient and medieval texts, magical tables, planetary tables, talismans and images ofangels and demons. Book One covers natural magic, amulets andcharms, potions, precious stones, lights, candles, alchemy, the philosopher's stone, transmutation, the four elements, numbers, and planets. Book Two covers magnetic powers,Cabalistic magic, the names of angels and spirits, theperforming of invocations, conjuring spirits, magic circles, receiving oracles in dreams, positive and evil spirits, andconcludes with a major biographical section on the greatmagicians of history.
