First
published in 1911, Arthur Edward Waite's The Book of Ceremonial
Magic is well-known for being a rather enigmatic text. The first hald of the book offers an analytical and critical account of many
magical rituals. The second can be considered an illustrated
grimoire. Contemporary occultists may find Waite's language and
style at times archaic, but perception and persistence will show
that this tome is a most useful reference.

The Practice of Magical Evocation
@200cr
Sacred Magick Edition
(350 pages)
synopsis
In magical terms, the book is a practical guide to the
proper evocation of and communication with spiritual, magical and
divine entities. It is perhaps the only truly significant modern
study of direct contact with the universal teachers -- the other
major works in the field are products of the Medieval,
Renaissance, and Reformation periods. But beyond that, there is a
fascinating glimpse into a complete magical universe. Bardon
outlines a totally new and original hierarchy of magic, from the
spirits of the four elements to those of the various planets, and
even to each degree of the zodiac. Included with the names and
descriptions of the various entities are a collection of
previously unknown magical sigils, as well as a true account of
ancient astrology|

The Magus: A Complete System of Occult
Philosophy by Francis Barrett
Part
I (157 pages)
|
Part II (128 pages)
The Magus has proved to be the most sought after set
of books on magic and alchemy ever published. There is very good
reason for this. These books are powerful, and were considered so
dangerous that for many years, rare copies could only be found in
certain libraries, locked away from the general public and from
those who would use (or misuse) its power. The original set of
books was first published in 1801 by its author, Francis Barrett,
who had an extensive background in the medieval and occult
sciences. He spent many years of diligent study before releasing
them. His premise for the material, that is, before putting
anything into these books, Barrett first subjected the various
theories to certain tests that had to be "substantiated by nature,
truth, and experiment" first. They were written for those seeking
the key to the philosopher's stone and the powers of magic. The
illustrations in this book were taken from ancient and medieval
texts, magical tables, planetary tables, talismans and images of
angels and demons. Book One covers natural magic, amulets and
charms, potions, precious stones, lights, candles, alchemy, the
philosopher's stone, transmutation, the four elements, numbers,
and planets. Book Two covers magnetic powers, Cabalistic magic,
the names of angels and spirits, the performing of invocations,
conjuring spirits, magic circles, receiving oracles in dreams,
positive and evil spirits, and concludes with a major biographical
section on the great magicians of history.

lead to their desired result in the "Principles of Ceremonial"
section. This comprehensive work also presents a formal
traditional education in the key elements of High Magick:
sigils; telesmata; consecration; protection; and Enochian
rituals and techniques, including proper pronunciation of the

The Mystical and Magical System of the A .'. A .'. - The Spiritual
System of Aleister Crowley & George Cecil Jones Step-by-Step
(300 pages)
@500
The Mystical and Magical System of the A .'. A .'. is the first
serious work on the A .'. A .'. System in over 50 years!
“Previously, so comprehensive a guide book has not been readily
available.” Initiation is a reality. Humanity has a potential to
grow far beyond its native state of consciousness and capability.
This growth is a spiritual growth. Its fruits inform and empower
every facet of human, mortal expression, while disclosing to each
of us our own inherently immortal natures.
On this spiritual growth, more than any other thing, the future
welfare and progress of humanity depends.
For thousands of years, Adepts have known how to unlock or awaken
this growth – how to mature it and unleash genius at will.
Beginning in 1906, two such Adepts, Aleister Crowley and George
Cecil Jones, organized and made public the mystical and magical
disciplines by which any motivated person can achieve this
spiritual maturity and have direct experience of realization,
liberation, union with God, or cosmic consciousness.
They called their system A .'. A .'. Its methods are those of
empirical science; its aims, those of devoted religion.
This book explores, step-by-step, the mystical and magical system
of the A .'. A .'. For many in the West, it is a strange thought
that spirituality can be drilled in the same way that a muscle is
strengthened. Yet, an ear trained to listen to music detects
wondrous subtleties that the untrained ear misses. The same is
true of the palate trained to distinguish fine food and wine, or
the eye trained to discriminate nuance in any of a thousand areas.
The same is true of spiritual experience. The stages of its
unfolding are distinct: the discovery of one’s True Will (or who
one is in the Universe), and the practical means of expressing
this in the world; the Knowledge and Conversation of the Holy
Guardian Angel (or conscious union with the Divine); and the
continued advance toward and through that vast gulf, or Abyss,
which lies between humanity and Divinity.
The author, in more than 20 years of experience of the mystical
and magical system of the A .'. A .'., has derived enormous value
from it. This book is the clearest, most complete presentation of
the system ever written. “Never before have the inner pathways of
this Journey been so finely mapped, nor the Way so clearly marked.
To you, dear children of the Light, do we deliver freely what has
been given to us. May the Way be opened for all who would walk it,
proudly, joyously, serenely – with strength, wisdom, love, and the
LIGHT which informs them with Beauty.” – from Chapter 11 of the
Mystical and Magical System of the A .'. A .'.

Gareth Knight - Magical Images and the Magical Imagination: A
Practical Handbook for Self Transformation Using the Techniques of
Creative Visualization and Meditation (95 pages)
@200
synopsis The knowledge
and use of magical images as a means of self development was once
a closely guarded secret of initiates and adepts in the Mystery
Schools. In this ground breaking new book, Gareth Knight gives
easy-to-follow classifications of the various kinds of magical
images, along with instructions for their use as agents of self
realization and spiritual growth. Indispensable for beginners and
advanced practitioners alike, this book presents the theory and
techniques of creative visualization and meditation. These
practical teachings range from the circulation of force within the
aura for the purpose of balancing the personality, to the
development of a full magical system of "pathworking" enabling
contact with unsuspected sources of inner wisdom and power.

Hebrew Letter Workbook (31 pages)
@200 The purpose of this booklet is
to help all students who want to learn how to draw, and recognize
the Hebrew letters. The various shapes of the letters are easily
reproduced using modem calligraphy pens. These instructions
presume students are familiar with various types of graph paper
and edged pens. Some students may be aware of other styles of
drawing the letters. These particular examples were used for
clarity and ease. When this booklet refers to "families of
letters," it is not alluding to the divisions familiar to students
of Qabalah: the 3 mother, 7 double, and 12 simple letters. The
groupings used are based on similarity and relation of shape. Much
confusion and error frustrate beginning students because of slight
but very important differences in appearance. Experience with this
particular organization of the letters has helped many students,
allowing them to draw nearly perfect letters in a very short
period of time.

Donald Michael
Kraig - Modern Magick: Eleven Lessons in the High Magickal Arts
(528 pages)
@500
synopsis Modern Magick is the most
comprehensive step-by-step introduction to the art of ceremonial
magic ever offered. The eleven lessons in this book will guide you
from the easiest of rituals and the construction of your magickal
tools through the highest forms of magick: designing your own
rituals and doing pathworking. Along the way you will learn the
secrets of the Kabbalah in a clear and easy-to-understand manner. Essential one of the key texts
which has taken magick and again thrust it into the daylight.
Magickal orders worldwide, from pagans, to Wiccans to the Golden
Dawn, owe the tremendous rise in interest in magick in large part
to Kraig's influence through this phenomenal volume. Unlike other
texts, most characterized by Crowley's habit of talking around
magickal theory, Kraig's text emphasizes the "DOING" in magick,
and gets the reader/student performing rituals and making magick
from the very first chapter. While heavily influenced and almost
wholly based on the Golden Dawn system, Modern Magick also
incorporates other systems, with a whole lotta pagan workings and
a dash of tantric thrown in, to boot. Kraig was one of the first
authors to address the much lamented tendency that ceremonial
magicians talk a lot about magick, but actually DO very little.
This book is fundamentally focused on doing, and, while a course
for the beginner, takes the student through sufficiently advanced
magick to satisfy the depth of knowledge any novice is likely to
aspire to. |

Joseph Lisiewski - Ceremonial Magic & The Power of Evocation: A
System of Personal Power (204 pages)
@300
synopsis For centuries, the ceremonial
evocation of spiritual beings has been Magic's darkest corner.
Reputed to fulfill the Magician's material desires, evocation has
been the topic of the most famous Grimoires---the Grammars of
Magic. From the Sworn Book of Honorius the Magician, to the
Greater Key of Solomon and the Goetia; from the Grand Grimoire, to
the complete treatise of the Lemegeton, all give direct, yet
difficult, directions to the individual desiring to have the 'good
life' in the here-and-now. But the simplest of Grimoires, the
Heptameron of Peter de Abano, has escaped the attention of modern
Ceremonialists. Its simplicity and power in summoning the Aerial
Spirits is second to none. Ceremonial Magic lays bare the
operation of the Heptameron. Its Magical Axioms, extensive
Commentaries, copious notes, and personal instructions to the
reader---all gained from Dr. Lisiewski's forty-years of study and
practice in Ceremonial Magic---make this a resource that no
serious student of Magic can afford to be without. It is all here,
as in no other Grimoire. Use its instructions and the world of
evocation and personal gratification are well within your grasp!
-
Joseph Lisiewski - Kabbalistic Handbook for the Practicing
Magician (189 pages)
@300
synopsis For the practicing Magician,
there is no more crucial working knowledge than the Kabbalah. This
complex structure serves as the backdrop against which the
magician's thoughts, ideas, ritual and ceremonial work are placed,
and is the archetype which breathes life into secret occult
practices. Yet, none of the numerous books on 'Qabalah' give those
'on-the-spot' attributions, correspondences and key concepts in a
'user-friendly' style. Until now. And The Kabbalistic Handbook
gives you even more. It includes never-before-published techniques
that enables Western Magic---including Golden Dawn Magic---to work
flawlessly every time! Never again will you need to wade through
voluminous chapters of many different books looking for the
Kabbalistic information you need. In addition, you will have a
course of instruction that will enable that knowledge to work for
you as never before. The field is cleared for your main objective:
the realization of your desires, manifested through properly
executed ritual and ceremonial work.

Milo DuQuette - The
Chicken Qabalah of Rabbi Lamed Ben Clifford: Dilettante's Guide to
What You Do and Do Not Need to Know to Become a Qabalist (233
pages)
@300 A unique and humorous—and also
uniquely practical—approach to the increasingly popular study of
Qabalah. This is a seriously funny book! Learn the basics of
Qabalah in spite of yourself! Traditional Qabalistic (or
Cabalistic, or, indeed, Kabbalistic—read this book to find out
what the difference is…we know you’ve always wondered) sources
tend to be a bit, er, dry. DuQuette spices up the Qabalah and
makes it come alive, restoring the joy of learning the
fundamentals of this admittedly arcane system by using simple,
amusing anecdotes and metaphors. This account, written
psuedepigraphically (fictitiously attributed to a supposed
authority), allows DuQuette as Rabbi Lamed Ben Clifford to soar to
outrageous heights and, when necessary, stand apart from the
silliness to highlight the golden eggs of Qabalistic wisdom nested
therein. Sure to be a revelation to those all who think that
teaching about the Qabalah needs to be tedious and serious,
DuQuette shows that great truths can be transmitted through the
medium of laughter.
-
Lon Milo DuQuette - The Key to Solomon's Key: Secrets of Magic and
Masonry (209 pages)
@300 Sketching out a fascinating
network of historic figures, cults, and Christendom, this book by
an occult studies expert and respected authority on magic and
sorcery takes western spiritual traditions seriously—but examines
them with common sense and self-effacing humor. Working backward
from the Freemasons to one of their original orders, the
14th-century Knights Templar, the account considers sorcery,
heresy, and intrigues; explores the legend that the Knights
possessed a powerful secret dangerous to the Church of Rome; and
finds an essential clue to the order's practices in their
connection to the biblical Solomon, king of Israel in the 10th
century B. C.

Lon Milo DuQuette - Illustrated Goetia: Sexual Evocation (119
pages)
@500
synopsis "Goetia [refers to] all the
operations of that Magick which deals with gross, malignant or
unenlightened forces." Goetia is sometimes thought of as a wild
card, something that can get out of control, something which
expresses the operator's lower desires to control others and
improve his own personal life. And, in fact, this potential loss
of control, this danger, the desire for self improvement and great
power is exactly what attracts many people to Goetia while
horrifying and repelling others. Crowley's Goetia is brought to
life with vivid illustrations of the demons. Commentary by
DuQuette and Hyatt bring the ancient arts into the modern day.
Adiramled - Divine Symbols: A Course of Lessons in Practical

-
Robert Wang - Qabalistic Tarot (296 pages)
@500 Hailed by reviewers as "a
masterpiece," and as "the single most profound reference of its
kind," The Qabalistic Tarot has become the standard in its field,
a book essential to all students of Tarot symbolism. It is both a
textbook and a sourcebook for the symbols of the Western Hermetic
Qabalah, a corpus of mystical ideas which have, for centuries,
exerted a powerful influence on the development of Western
thought. Dr. Wang explains the Tarot as an externalization of a
mystical system which has evolved from approximately the third
century C.E. to our own time. He traces the development of
Qabalistic ideas from the Neoplatonic through the Medieval,
Renaissance, and Modern periods, systematically discussing each
Sephira and Path on the Tree of Life. He uses the Tarot images as
a point of visual reference, and provides a thorough explanation
of the symbolic intricacies of the Paths. The Qabalistic Tarot is
recommended as a comprehensive textbook for individual study or
for the classroom. The first and only work based on the four major
decks in use today, it is the ideal companion book for the Golden
Dawn Tarot, the Thoth Tarot, the Rider-Waite Tarot, or the
traditional Marseilles deck.
-
William G. Gray - The Tree of Evil (124 pages)
@300 The importance of the Tree
of Life when looked at from its negative side will give the reader
new perspective of the spiritual path. Ignorance of universal law
can mean that when you think you are doing "good", you may
actually be doing "evil". Consciousness is the key. This is an
important book for occult students on any path.
-
Ashcroft Nowicki - Ritual Magic Workbook (256 pages)
@300 The Ritual Magic Workbook is the
perfect resource for those who feel compelled to find answers
about magic, but don't have a group or tutor to which to turn for
instruction. Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki helps you unravel what it
means to practice magic. Her firm voice inspires you to look into
yourself and judge your own motives. Do you want to practice magic
because of the flashy effects in movies, or do you feel a deeper
need to explore the mysteries of the occult? The Ritual Magic
Workbook is broken into 12 monthly chapters, progressing from
personal preparation to laying the foundation for your own temple,
and on to the beginnings of simple ritual magic such as divination
and healing. Read The Ritual Magic Workbook and you will know if
the path of high magic is for you.
-
William G. Gray - Magical Ritual Methods (301 pages)
@500 The first sentence in this book
says it all: "There is probably more rubbish written about magic
than anything else..." Then Gray proceeds to build a very workable
foundation of magickal practice. His deep detail is something that
is painfully missing from most of these recent-vintage magickal
manuals. The reader learns about proper grounding and centering,
constructing workable psychic shielding, the use of sound in
chants and rites, and the proper construction and use of ritual
tools. The various parts of a working rite of Magick are
explained- even down to the postures of the celebrants. The book
is oriented more towards the temple-style of practice, but its
methods can be employed in Wiccan and other paths, too. This book
is not really for beginners, but it needs to be on the shelf of
every serious practitioner and magickal teacher.

It is the companion book to "The Magick of Solomon" video produced

Poke Runyon - The Magick of Solomon (521MB zipped movie file)
@500
Companion to the above book. An
80 minutes video documentary written and
narrated by anthropologist and ceremonial magician, Carroll "Poke"
Runyon, Magister of America's oldest continually operating Magical
Lodge, the Ordo Templi Astartes (O.T.A.). The first part of the
video offers a history of Western Magick, illustrated with
graphics and displays, setting forth the author's theory, based on
his own research and experiments, that visions of spirits obtained
by magicians in medieval times were subjective and hypnotic rather
than hysterical hallucinations. Runyon holds that the practical
technique for achieving this was the visual distortion which
occurs when a person stares at his or her reflection in a dark
mirror. This technique is demonstrated and visions are simulated.
The relationship of the "72 Rebellious Spirits" contained in King
Solomon's legendary "Brass Vessel" to the Holy Angels who control
them is explained and a hypnotic method for invoking these Angels
into a Crystal Ball is demonstrated. According to the narrator,
these two systems should be integrated for a proper spiritual
balance. The video climaxes with the presentation of a complete
Goetia Evocation Operation, in full ceremonial regalia, summoning
the spirit Astaroth (actually the Canaanite Goddess, Astarte) to
visual appearance in the dark mirror on the Triangle of Art.
-
Poke Runyon - Dark Mirror of Magick (477MB zipped movie file) @500
On January 3rd, 2001, documentary writer/producer Wayne Darwen
brought a professional T.V. news crew into the inner sanctum of
The Order of the Temple of Astarte to record a remarkable
phenomenon: the summoning of the ancient spirit Vassago. Early in
February an edited version of Vassago's mysterious Prophecy was
broadcast by the Los Angeles affiliate of a National T.V. Network,
confirming that the spirit had predicted a major news event: only
13 days after the ritual had been audio-visually recorded,
President Laurent Kabila of the Congo was assassinated! In this
video version we show you the entire operation in sequence,
exactly as it happened with no rehearsals and no retakes. Wayne
Darwen also interviews the Magister Thabion (Poke Runyon) and the
mystic seer Frater Solomon. Their unrehearsed answers to his
probing questions leave no doubt as to the philosophical depth and
spiritual power of Solomon's ancient Magick even in this modern
age. This is an entirely new and original production. In "The
Magick of Solomon" video we dramatically reenacted magical rituals
for instructive purposes, whereas "Dark Mirror of Magick" is the
record of an actual magical operation of historical significance.
We believe that this remarkable documentary will be studied and
commented on for years to come.

Seasonal Ceremonies we show you one of our first performances
(1974) of the Goddess Astarte’s journey to the underworld from the
myths of ancient Canaan. The cast includes Pagan elder Joseph
Wilson, and the original founders of the Neo-Pagan Movement in
America, Frederick Adams and Lady Svetlana of Feraferia. Following
this historical footage we present a (2004) dramatic torchlight
rendition of our Summer Solstice rite in which the Green Man is
slain by the Dark Lord in an ancient Phoenician myth drama. In the
Communion of the Elements we again return to 1974 for an early
version of this rite, followed by a totally silent and masked
presentation, accompanied by organ music, performed in 2003. We
believe we have the first visually recorded presentation of an
Enochian Watchtower Opening ceremony. After a brief history and
explanation of the system we enter the temple where all five
Enochian Tablets are displayed. The operator opens each in turn,
concluding with the Portal Call before the Tablet of Union. Our
bonus feature is a short fantasy about mad alchemist determined to
create an elixir that will restore his disfigured face to its
original appearance. It’s Hieronymus Bosch meets Salvador Dali on
film. In conclusion I explain that our particular school of magick
is based on the 18th century rite of Crata Repoa and that we are
of the ancient Hermetic Tradition. We believe that this production
will be of considerable interest to students of the occult, magick,
Neo-Paganism, cultural anthropology and avant-garde religion.
William Gray - Qabalistic Concepts: Living the Tree (379
pages)
@300 In this book, the author writes
from within me magic tradition. He places emphasis on how the
Qabalah actively influences the Western Mystery Tradition."Gray
has the ability to bring a very abstract subject, the Qabalah,
down to the level where it can be comprehended by nearly anyone...
to understandable terms without destroying its essence".
William Gray - An Outlook On Our Inner Western Way (159 pages)
@300 William Gray is one of the most
prolific--and controversial--occultists writing today. Blending
keen insight, modern psychological models and an overall sense of
practicality, his books have torn away at the moldy veils of
so-called occult secrets, laying out a no-nonsense foundation by
which modern Western humanity may once again regain its precious
magical soul. In this book, Mr. Gray shows, simply and lucidly,
how to live the Western Inner Tradition. Tracing the cosmology of
Western magic, he substantiates its vitality and urgency for our
future. Not since Magick in Theory and Practice and the works of
Dion Fortune has there been such a mammoth attempt at presenting
magic as the relevant, living tradition it is.

William Gray - Temple Magic: Building the Personal Temple: Gateway

@300 As with all of William Gray's
book if you are looking to win someone's affections or turn
yourself into a demon you have come to the wrong place. Rather the
serious student or the seriously interested, but uninitiated could
do no better. This book builds upon previous works in
intelligently and accessibly presenting "occult" theory and
practice (though one does have to read a bit between the lines,
this is no more difficult then any other philosophical or
religious treatise)-(the practice part is not usually Step 1, etc,
it is: further study, or meditating on this, etc.). A good book
for the middle way.

expounds clearly the most important ritual of the Sangreal
Sodality in this book. It is similar to a Christian mass, but it
is not. The concepts of what the san-greal (royal blood), qabalah,
and other elements of this tradition including the meaning of the
symbol used by the Sangreal Sodality are explained. I think this
book is good because it is meant to allow people, such as myself
or you, to create a Sangreal Sodality with others. This is what
William Gray mentions in the book in it's later chapters. He
associates his writing this book with the work of others in the
1600's who allowed for the formation of the Rosicrucian Movement.
They wrote books/pamphlets with a set of ideals that would
eventually be crystalized by the people who read the documents
written for that tradition.

Denning & Phillips - The Aurum Solis Initiation Ceremonies and
Inner Magical Techniques (230 pages)
@300cr
Both above the level
of rationality and below it, there exist for us vital and
purposeful areas of psychic activity which are frequently
termed "unconscious", not because they are unconscious at
their own levels but because the rational mind is unconscious
of them. One of the major results to be sought, whether in
magical training, in meditation, or for the matter of that in
psychotherapy, is to push back the misty boundaries of
unconsciousness, both higher and lower. That achieved, the
conscious mind is more widely able to recognise the influences
which affect it, to understand them and very frequently
control them, and so is able to take more intelligent
responsibility in the life of the person. In this book, the
keys to this process as employed in the initiatory rites of
the Order Aurum Solis are revealed in detail for the first
time. These ceremonies of initiation, together with inner
magical techniques required for proper performance of the
works, are capable of leading the aspirant from the portal of
the mysteries to the heights of magical attainment. The
structure and consecration of an Aurum Solis temple are
likewise presented, together with details of vestments and
regalia; and the major inner symbolism of the Ogdoadic
Tradition of the Western Mysteries is set forth. This
significant work, prepared by the Grand Master of the Order,
is a full and vital revelation of the outer and inner
initiatory technology of the Aurum Solis, and stands as a
guide to the magical potential and the power of the Ogdoadic
Tradition.

Denning & Phillips - Vol. 1 - The Foundations of High Magick:
The Magical Philosophy
(366 pages)
@500cr
There are many books
availiable for those who wish to learn the way of ritual
magick- but few books for those who wish to learn the
philosophy behind it, without having to contend with the
opinions of often overbearing (Crowley), dogmatic (Fortune),
muddle-headed (Regardie), or overly cautious (Kraig) writers.
This book not only teaches pure Qabalistic and Hermetic
thought, but insightfully and lucidly ties in connections to
Oriental, Native American, and even the often overlooked ideas
of those anomalous American Transcendentalists, such as
Emerson and Whitman. There's no strange yoga, badly-translated
words of mystic power, or misunderstood mythology- only the
finest piece of magical literature availiable today. If you're
a psychologist interested in exploring the transpersonal
realms, a layperson wanting to explore spirituality beyond the
confines of exoteric religion, a pagan interested in exploring
a more reason-oriented spirituality searching for answers -
this book is for you.

pages)
@500cr
Geomancy, along with
astrology and tarot, is one of the three major divination
systems of the Western magical tradition. Medieval and
renaissance traditions of geomancy use simple but powerful
methods of interpretation that are easy to use, and based on
the flow of elemental energies through the earth. This book
teaches those methods, drawing from writings that have been
completely out of print since the Renaissance.

Women of the Golden Dawn by Mary K.Greer (9 pages)
The Hermetic Order of
the Golden Dawn was founded in London in 1888. One of several
secret magical societies in existence at the time, the Golden Dawn
was noted for the equality it offered women both in its internal
hierarchy and when performing mystical ceremonies. While this
magical order attracted several more famous followers, William
Butler Yeats and George Bernard Shaw among them, Greer's purpose
in writing this book is to highlight the lives of four female
members. They are Florence Farr, actress; Annie Horniman, patron
of the arts; Maud Gonne, aristocratic revolutionary; and Moina
Bergson Mathers, artist. All managed to escape suffocating
Victorian lifestyles and eventually formed the backbone of the
Golden Dawn. In this massive book, Greer explores the many years
of intensive study of occult and mystical traditions the women
undertook and the personal triumphs and tragedies they experienced
along the way. Packed with anecdotes about major literary figures
of the time, this account provides a provocative picture of four
strong and brilliant women who refused to be hindered by the
dictates of Victorian society. However, while this book may prove
intriguing as a historical or biographical work, its use of
astrology and magic to draw conclusions or explain occurrences may
prove distracting to some readers.

Regardie - The Golden Dawn
@500cr
(717 pages)
The original account of the teachings, rites and ceremonies of
the Hermetic order. The book is divided into several basic
sections. First are the knowledge lectures, where you will learn
the basics of the Kaballah, symbolism, meditation, geomancy and
more. This is followed by the rituals of the Outer Order,
consisting of five initiation rituals into the degrees of the
Golden Dawn. The next section covers the rituals of the Inner
Order including two initiation rituals, equinox ceremonies, and
more. Then you will learn the basic rituals of magic and the
construction, consecration, and means of using the magical tools.
Once you have these you can go on to evocation rituals, talismans,
and invocations. The book gives explanations for how to design
talismans, do skrying and travel on the astral plane. You will
also learn geomancy, the Tarot, and Enochian magic.
