they walked around the church nine times and sprinkled the
seeds as they went and repeated "Hempseed I sow, hempseed I
sow, who will come after me and mow?". Was also once part of
many vision, meditation, and scrying incenses. Mugwort and
hemp were prescribed to be burned before a magick mirror to
gain visions. Scourges made of hemp were used in China as
imitation snakes to drive out illness-causing demons from a
sick person. This was done by beating the hemp against the
